Ricky Gallimore, known professionally as GALLIMORE is a musician, songwriter, producer, singer from Bristol.

Brought up by a musical family, GALLIMORE picked up the guitar and started writing songs at the young age of 7. Performing his first gig at the age of 11 and writing and recording his first EP at age 14. 

In 2009 GALLIMORE moved to Brighton to attend BIMM Institute Brighton, completing a BA (Hons) in Songwriting & Professional Musicianship; where he embarked on several band projects and regularly gigging around Brighton and London. 

In 2016, Ricky’s artist project, GALLIMORE came to fruition releasing his first single ‘In My Head’ in 2017 with the help of Oscar Behrens (Drums), Harry Johns (Guitar) and Sam Brown (Bass).

GALLIMORE studied a MA in Music and Sonic Media at the University of Sussex where he studied musical composition, music production and audio visual arts.

In 2021, Ricky formed his own business ‘GALLIMORE MUSIC’, which offers a range of services including, but not limited to:

• Professional Live Engagement/Gigging Musician
  Regularly performing at venues across Sussex for all manner of occasions; catering for parties, weddings, special celebrations and corporate events.
  My sets range from 50’s Rock ’n’ Roll, 80’s Pop, 90’s Brit Pop, all the way through to all the way through to the latest and greatest.

• Songwriting, Artist Development and Music Production
  Working closely with songwriters, musicians and lyricists to help enhance their ideas and provide advice on their music. Whether that’s helping lyricists actualise their ideas into song form, working with artists to help develop their identity and performance confidence or through producing, recording and mixing songs as in active and/or passive capacity, I lean on my experience to help achieve the goals that my clients wish to achieve
• Private music tuition
  I offer 1-2-1 and small group music tuition in Songwriting, Guitar, Music Production and Vocals. I bring a light, fun and informal approach to my sessions. Whether you’re just starting out or you are looking to revisit things you haven’t visited for a while, I ensure that our sessions together are all about you as the learner; with personalised and adaptable lesson content allowing you to express yourself and develop your skills
